Creating an individual development plan through integral coaching

At core the work I do with people is deeply transformative. We enter into a dialogue and embark on a journey that is profoundly revealing of self. You will begin to see the truth of you, from every angle...the good, the beautiful and the broken, always held in a space of loving compassion and rigor. We will laugh and cry together, finally reaching a place where all aspects of you are brought into the light. You will begin to see and experience yourself as others experience you. Some of this may not be pretty. Some of it may leave you breathless with awe. From this place of deep awareness and clarity, the future you will begin to enter the scene. What parts do you wish to keep and take forward, what parts do you wish to leave behind forever, what parts do you wish to transmute? How will the world react to the you that is emerging? How will your primary relationships engage with this more whole you? How will this affect your team and your work? Your individual development plan needs to be deeply considered.

Certainly this kind of work is not for the faint hearted. It is for those people, leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, who know the time is now to go deeper than they ever have before, and from here to open themselves to more integrity of self than they dared dream possible.

....and this work is about integrity. It is about bringing more alignment to all of the pieces of you than you have ever done before.....about becoming a more resonant whole human being...

As part of an executive coaching program, this type of individual development plan will create leaders able to meet with future boldly and with wisdom.

What does the future hold following this work?

While I am not certain of the form your future will take as your individual development plan unfolds, I am certain that you will have more value to add to the world, your impact and offering will be of more worth. You will like who you see in the mirror. Feedback from the world will recognise the more congruent, empowered you. Your individual development plan will have created for yourself some breathing room. As each person is unique, every integral coaching engagement is uniquely crafted. What you want to hold at the centre of the coaching will be generated from you. People have worked on their relationship to authority, or their feelings of being a fraud, or their lack of interpersonal skills, or their sense of never achieving enough....all through the many facets of an individual development plan that may also be a personal leadership development plan.

How do we do this...

While there is a structured process behind our work together on your individual development plan, the experience is profoundly emergent. In the beginning we take the time to get to know the entirety of you. We do this using methods embedded in integral and human development theory, and through deep dialogue. We also explore together the future way of being you want to bring to life, and why. The tension between the current and the new provides the platform for our work, which will include exercises and practices crafted with careful consideration of your journey. There is a teaching component to our work together. I will give you models and tools to support your understanding and application. These tools will become skills you can apply to other parts of your life.

As the new aspects of self begin to emerge and stick through the application of your individual development plan and the integral coaching, we continue to apply care and consideration to how this is affecting your larger world and your relationships. We may need to bring other people into our dialogue. We may need to work with your team.

Finally, when you have become fully integrated into the new way of being, we review the whole process, acknowledging and celebrating the journey, before we take a pause in our work together to allow a full integration to occur.

The investment...

The investment for this process is based on a retainer of $3000 per month plus GST, all inclusive (if we bring in your team or other parties there may be an agreed extra fee), payable monthly in advance. The fee includes all meeting times, preparation and research by me, assessments, and ad hoc calls and emails. Meeting times vary between 2-5 hours per month. Some months will be of a higher intensity of engagement, other months lesser. The engagement is for a minimum of 6 months and up to 18 months. The fee does not include travel expenses.

My integral coaching offer for teams and groups

I work with groups of people who insist on creating the most breathtaking synergistic response because they have all come together. In other words, one plus one plus one... creates the power of 100 or a 1000...far more than is possible with one person, or a group of people working as individuals. When a group of people achieve the alchemy that occurs when they transcend their egoic selves for the clearly aligned intention of the work they came together to do, they find such a place of resonance that only extraordinary outcomes are possible.

This work can be confronting, exhilarating, magical and transformative. We will have fun together doing serious work. Each member of the team will learn, become observers of themselves in relationship to others and the community, get to see their insecurities and their unknown skills and gifts, and find a place within the team that deeply awakens the very best of them.

How we do this...

As each team and group has their unique dynamic, there is no one size fits all. With small teams I may spend time with each individual creating an individual development plan as well as with the whole team. With larger teams, I may spend time with some individuals, and even with subgroups. The larger context of the journey is similar to the individual integral coaching journey. The frequency of interaction will become evident for all participants as the process continues.

The investment..

Because of the emergent and unique nature of each team engagement, I do not offer a fixed monthly fee.
