Executive Leadership Development Program

The Constellation

“If we were designing an executive leadership development program what components would it have?”

This is one of the questions that a group of my colleagues and I sat with over a period of months. We had recognised that an executive leadership development program of the caliber we considered imperative to address the issues of the future did not exist, or at least, not in the main stream, like the Harvard Universities, London Business school, etc.

In the article on business leadership skills for the 21st Century, I discussed some of the requisite skills required for leadership to navigate towards a healthy future for all.(leadership ethics for example) Knowing that leaders today and in the future are going to need these skills and more, my colleagues and I decided that finding a way to meet these needs was so critical we might as well put a stake in the sand and be part of the solution. We knew there was a need for an executive leadership development program that transcended the norm. So we created "The Constellation."

As part of our context for The Constellation, we realised that an executive leadership development program could never be a ‘one size fits all.’ It had to be bespoke, adaptive, meeting the needs of the people and organisation where they were, taking them on the journey to where their most healthy and viable future needed them to be.

This is the kind of executive leadership development program that inspired us.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE CONSTELLATION

In order to achieve and sustain success in today's globalised marketplace we need to develop more systemic perspectives and sustainable practices.
